Somber, silent, sacredly,

She ventured to the tomb;

Fearful, fragile, fretfully,

Her mind replayed the doom.

 

Beaten, stricken, spat upon,

How could this be her LORD?

Hands that once had made her whole,

Now bound by one small cord?
